Early Adopters Offer Policy

1. Overview of the Offer

The Early Adopters Offer allows eligible users to access OptoWork.co.uk and its services completely free of charge from July 1st, 2025 to at least July 31st, 2026.

This includes all features available to optical practices, staff, managers, directors, and professionals (Optometrists, Dispensing Opticians, CLOs, Support Staff).

2. Eligibility Criteria

To qualify and remain eligible as an Early Adopter, you must:

• Sign up on OptoWork.co.uk between 1st July 2025 and 31st July 2026.
• Verify and get approval for your account (including any required documentation or checks).
• Use the platform at least once per calendar month until the end of the offer period. This includes:
  • Posting or searching for shifts
  • Referring friends or colleagues who successfully register during the Early Adopters period

3. Key Terms

• ✅ No purchase is necessary to participate.
• 🆓 Free access includes all standard features available during the offer period.
• 📅 Offer Period: July 1st, 2025 – July 31st, 2026 (subject to change).

4. Limitations and Restrictions

• Abuse of the offer, including but not limited to:
  • Creating fake accounts or fake referrals
  • Using bots, AI, scripts, or automation to manipulate the system
  • Spamming or deceptive practices
  may result in immediate suspension or permanent banning from the platform.
• This offer is non-transferable. If you lose access to your account or associated email, OptoWork is under no obligation to re-issue access to the Early Adopters Offer.
• Access and eligibility are granted at OptoWork admin discretion and may be withdrawn at any time without notice.
• OptoWork may modify, extend, reduce, or terminate this Early Adopters Offer at any time without prior notice or warning.

5. Indemnity and Liability

By registering for and using the OptoWork platform under the Early Adopters Offer or at any other time, all users (whether individuals, practices, managers, or otherwise) expressly agree to the following:

• You use the OptoWork platform entirely at your own risk.
• OptoWork, its founders, directors, employees, staff members, contractors, agents, affiliates, partners, and any individuals directly or indirectly involved in the creation, promotion, maintenance, or administration of the platform shall not be held liable for:
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your access to or use of the platform;
  • Loss of income, employment, data, opportunities, or reputation resulting from platform activity or use;
  • Any disputes, miscommunications, cancellations, or issues that arise between users (e.g., optical staff and practice managers);
  • Any technical failures, errors, downtime, or loss of access to the platform.
• You also agree to fully indemnify and hold harmless OptoWork and all associated persons or entities from any claims, liabilities, damages, costs, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
  • Your use or misuse of the platform;
  • Your violation of these Early Adopters Terms or any general OptoWork Terms of Use;
  • Your participation in or promotion of the platform to others;
  • Any third-party claims resulting from your actions on or in connection with the platform.
• This indemnification applies whether your use of the platform occurs during the Early Adopters Offer period or at any time before or after it.
• All users who join OptoWork before, during, or after the Early Adopters period agree to indemnify OptoWork from any liability or negative outcome arising from their use of the platform.
• OptoWork accepts no responsibility for any employment issues, disputes, or financial loss incurred by users during or after the Early Adopters Offer.

6. Final Notes

This promotional offer is designed to support the UK optical community and reduce the cost of hiring and finding work. We ask all users to act in good faith and respect the integrity of the platform.

By continuing to use OptoWork during the Early Adopters Offer, you accept these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the platform under this offer.
